Hello everyone, what’s the best way to stop these guys eating all the lillies? They’re sneaky and hard to catch. Im wiping the little larvae ones covered in crap off every day. Would Diatomaceous earth in the pots help? What do you guys do? Seems like the pests in my garden have exploded this year.
Hello everyone, sadly I will be giving my landlord his 3 months notice. I had a partnership with my dad at our family shop, he just passed from a long illness, I can’t carry on on my own can’t afford to hire help so I’ll be closing down.
We bought a van in 2019 and obviously I want to sell it before I close up. My dad claimed the VAT back when he bought it. It was bought with the business money and is registered to our shop, not in either of our names.
How do I go about selling the van? Do i need to buy it from the business or sell it on behalf of the business? Do i need to do any of this or can i just sell the van and pay the vat due? We aren’t a limited company.
I have an appointment with the accountant next week but in the mean time I thought id ask here.

Would this spread everywhere if left in the border? Theres half a dozen popped up in different parts of the garden. What do you guys do with them? I like the little yellow flowers and they’re probably useful to insects but don’t want them everywhere.
Fully intended to dig them up and store the tubers over winter until friends, family and neighbours all said they never bother. The pink one has new growth coming (first pic) but the chocolate one didn’t make it. 🪦
