Looking for advice before I am forced to pull the trigger next week.

My current two pack of Asus ET12s are really starting to piss me off. Stability is of utmost importance for my wife's work (from home) and these things keep glitching out her separate SSID for work devices. I broke it all down on Sunday and did factory resets and fresh setups. If it craps itself again this weekend I want to buy new hardware. Was thinking...

- Dream Router 7

- U7Pro XG

- Flex Mini 2.5

- POE++ adaptor

Figuring the switch can run off the POE from the router. The U7 would need the adaptor.

Would I need anything more to replace the ET12s and a dumb switch?

The ET12s have been beasts and the range is stupid. Not really concerned if i have to give up some range as they are a bit overkill in my house. Would losing the 4x4 mu-mimo of the ET12s be a big deal or a good swap for the stability I am told I would get from Unifi hardware?

Cruise control switch "covers"?

The plastic covers on the switches. The originals disintegrated years ago. I have replaced them a few times by purchasing new switch assemblies and just using the covers while not bothering to replace the switches themselves. They get super gross after a few months in the Florida heat. Mine are currently a sticky, oily mess. Outside of moving out of Florida, anybody have any good ideas for a better replacement for these things?
