My colleague and I are physiotherapists in Ontario looking to start a mobile business where we treat clients in their homes. We each bill our own clients under our own name and keep 100% of our own revenue. The purpose of partnering up is essentially for branding and shared costs (EMR, supplies etc).

We have no business background and are confused on the best way to set this up. Do we register a general partnership, or 2 sole proprietorships using a shared trade name.

I know we need to talk to a CPA but would appreciate some thoughts here.
