Transitioning from tretinoin 0.1% cream to taz 0.1% cream
Hey folks! Wanted to hear others experience if anyone experienced transitioning from tretinoin to taz. For context, I’ve been on tretinoin on and off since almost a decade ago. I’ve been more consistent with my tret in recent times (4-5x a week) but recently got into taz. I haven’t experienced any tret peeling in recent times but was concerned with transitioning to taz since I know it’s more potent. I did the sandwich method last night using the Illyoon Ceramide Moisturizer and didn’t feel any irritation. Was curious to see how others have their routines? Are there people who switch between tret and taz or do you completely switch over? Also I use azelaic acid 15% in the morning but concerned about using it with taz. Would love to know everyone’s thoughts!
Current Routine:
AM: splash face with water, dry off, azelaic acid, illyoon moisturizer, supergoop sunscreen
PM: double cleanse (Prequel oil cleanser + Prequel gleanser), sandwich method illyoon moisturizer with tret/taz
