As Zimbabweans we need to put more value and effort on our daily lives, it begins with the smallest things.
Please you don’t need anyone to tell you that if you are travelling on a speeding bus or car it increases the risk of being in a dangerous accident. Please care enough about your life to confront the driver or get off the bus/car. Nothing is worth mote than your life.
There are a lot more things that can be fixed from self worth and self respect. Imagine if we could keep our communities clean by not littering (council doesn’t not care because we don’t as well).
We live in a country that seems to not value us but it’s actually us who don’t value ourselves and consequently our country.
As a Zimbabwean, what does ‘Politics’ mean to you?
Often times people say ‘handiite zvePolitics’ (I don’t do politics) but do we even know what we are distancing ourselves from?
Do we need proper education on this and could it be the most important subject in our country?
Does the government even know what politics is?
What specific opportunity/talent do you think “Zimbabwe” robbed you of?
Growing up in Zimbabwe mostly means you miss out on exploring a number of things and you may never know you possess certain capabilities. Which ones do you think you were deprived of? It could be that you had to give it up at some point or you only discovered it when you moved and had missed the window to pursue it?
Mine: I realised i was actually good at picking up a lot of different sports and play to a descent enough level. Only found out after leaving Zimbabwe and getting exposed to them.
