55 and no idea
55 and don't understand any of this. Have just been putting the max in my 401k for years. Just got a decent promotion (200k). House paid off. ~200k cash.
When I read posts on here I am completely lost. I am not sure what to do with the cash. I have a small amount in VOO and not sure if I should put the 200k in there or something with Roth. Not sure if my 401k investment mix is appropriate. Also don't know when it's safe to retire, no date set as of yet. Super rough estimate to live on $10-12k/month.
Wife owns a business and contributes about $6k/month to household. She loves what she does and does not plan to retire.
Just looking for any advice that you may have.
