Our sweet boy Merlin likely has lymphoma
When I was cleaning their cage tonight, our boy Merlin started sneezing excessively until his nose started dripping blood. I immediately got him in the car and took him to the emergency vet. We were hoping for an upper respiratory infection but signs of a URI were negative and his lymphocytes were really high, plus things in his skull looked slightly abnormal on an xray. They suspect it’s lymphoma. Because he’s still eating and running around like normal we’re starting palliative care. I’m so devastated. We’ve had him for 2 years, he’s just such a sweet pig and came to us so shy and is now just a lovebug. Its just so brutal. Please send us love :(
