No filming at SLC show (5/9)
My husband and I were at the SLC show tonight. I noticed during about the 3rd song that a person working at the venue asked a couple of people to put their phones away. For most of the concert this continued. Workers at the venue would tell people who were filming on their phones that they had to stop. They would even go as far as to shimmy down a row to tell a person to put their phone away. Then with about 8 songs left, another lady working the venue kind of shouted that filming was now okay.
My husband and I have been to a couple concerts at the same venue before and have never seen this happen. We saw Charlie during his last tour and this didn’t happen then. We thought what happened tonight was very strange. I asked someone as we were leaving what the deal was and they said that Charlie’s management asked the venue to make sure no one filmed? There was 0 signage about this and I haven’t seen it talked about anywhere online. And then obviously it somehow became fine to film the last third of the show?
So just curious if anyone else has experienced this at a Charlie show? We were very confused by the whole thing.
