Measuring property prices in kilos of gold?
My friend told me that a lot of people from her grandparents generation measure approximate value of property using gold prices. For example if a house used to cost around 1 kilo of gold 20 years ago, it should still be around 1 kilo of gold today.
Have you guys heard this before? How many people believe in this value estimation method?
