Offline Mode Scans Failing
I have a single stand alone, not connected to the internet Windows 11 desktop with Nessus installed on it. I need to run a scan to see the varios vulnerabilities that are on it. Do I need to do a credentialed scan since the software is running on the localhost? I have tried all iterations of setting up the credential. The scans will run and they will report on the stuff that doesn't need a credential to see but the scan says failed and it seems like it is failing due to the AUTH of the credential. I am 100% positive the user/passwrod combo are correct.
What else should I look for, I have gone thru the docs and it seems like my local group policy edits are correct etc.
You can always learn something from your Mommy.
Go to PT she said. I said, "They aren't doing anything, I can do it at home." After week 5 now I am glad I am still going 2 to 3x per week. It really has helped, even if I didn't think they were pushing me hard enough. I also know I would not have done the exercises at home, and so does my mom. My mom is 80+ she has been going to a seniors workout thing 2x per week for an hour each. It's mostly social, but they still do things that I can see in her movement. It is incredible what a little movement does for us.
Anyone that CAN do this on their own, I applaud you. Keep up the work everyone!
Anyone still suffering, try more movement. Even if you need to get some tylenol in ya before ya do.
He is back. What if he scores 35 this year?
There was no doubt in my mind he was coming back. But with Ovi at 929, what if he scores 30 or 40 this year? Does he come back for 1000? 71 goals over 2 seasons does not seem like too many. Also I have a Ovi bobble head goal counter with 4 digits on it... so there is that. maybe he was in talks with FOCO already
My Journey Has Started! June 10 was surgery day!
Initial Observations & Recommendations (Post-Op)
Here is a breakdown of what to expect and how to handle the first few days after surgery. Learn from my experience—don't try to tough it out!
1. Medication & Digestion (Take the Meds!)
- Don't skip the stool softeners: I don't care if you are usually "tough as nails" or incredibly regular. Post-op constipation is real. Take them.
- Stick to the pain schedule: I thought the Extra Strength Tylenol wasn't doing much and tried to skip it—big mistake. It was working. Take your prescribed pain management.
- Heavy meds: I only took one of the stronger narcotic pills on night one just to ensure I could get some sleep.
2. Sleeping Arrangements
- Back sleeping is mandatory: Be prepared to sleep on your back.
- The Recliner is king: Personally, I have only been able to successfully sleep on my back by using a recliner. Get one, $300 on amazon or somewhere else.
- Side-sleeping : They tell you that you can sleep on your side with a pillow between your knees, I wont risk it. It is not worth it to me.
3. Hydration & Dizziness
- Expect a rough morning: Around day three, I had a terrible morning where I would stand up to walk around and get incredibly dizzy. This quickly went away with a few large chugs of water and laying back down.
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate: Dizziness is a very common side effect of the post-op medications. Drink massive amounts of water to combat this.
4. Physical Therapy (PT)
- Go, even when you feel awful: Day 2 was absolutely miserable for me due to a lack of sleep, pain, an upset stomach, and dehydration.
- Don't cancel: I actually called to reschedule my PT session on the bad morning. The staff was incredibly nice, but they convinced me to power thru it.
- The payoff: I am so thankful they pushed me. After pushing through the session, I felt great for the rest of the day.
4. Ice Therapy
- Get a machine: Someone gave me a Breg. It works fine especially if you have an ice maker. But also you can freeze water bottles or something that will fit in them. You can get these on FB market for probably $50.
- Gel Packs: I have been using mostly gel packs, they seem to be colder. Granted they dont last as long. Amazon has them for about $20
I got to the surgery center for pre op at about 1030, got the knifing started around 12:30, started post op about 1:30. My xray had a time stamp of 1:18. I was up walking and out the door going home by 5:30pm. Crazy!
Good luck to you all
