So Jhin is my favorite League character aside from Zoe. I mained him for about 7 years, because my wrists were turning to crap, and I couldn't play much regular ADC without large breaks. His playstyle was super awesome, and I really think that Riot did a good job transitioning his playstyle in League and added that flavor to Riftbound. My only qualm is that dancing grenade should cost 4 mana and have a similar effect to "Defile" from Hearthstone.
Because I can't play any regionals this year, I have decided to go extremely casual, and instead of playing tier one meta, (was a Kai'sa enjoyer all of set 1) I am deciding to just play what I have fun with. What I will say is that the Jhin deck is SUPER fun. Sometimes you just have insane strong push turns to either wipe the board or just develop a ton of bodies. You also get to be pretty creative with your rune usage.
I will say though is that the Jhin deck and cards just feel extremely bad. Maybe I am playing the deck wrong, but even though i may be winning 66% of my matches at Nexus nights, it feels super rough. Between the instant loss to a lot of green lists, and any Aurora deck, Jhin just has zero ability to be reactive. None of Jhins spells are Actions, so it feels like I am unable to do anything on my opponents turn. Loses to a lot of accelerate cards or these sprite cards that enter ready.
While I know the legend has all the room to be better because his ability is generic as more sets come out, I am just a little unsure if i am doing anything wrong.
For people's reference, I am playing the "Best-Of" list from Vancouver. Any assistance for what you are seeing would be great!
I keep hearing about Aurora this....Aurora that, and how she is unfun to play against...but i just don't get it. Aurora isn't even in the game yet. Yes, I can see how people can think she might be unfun to play against because her burst damage combo is just so high. Q>E>R>Q can burst like 80% of the champions in the game. That being said, he don't have to play against that yet. What is all your deals?
