New To Nissan

After being a Jeep guy since 2013, I plunged into the Frontier world.

Prior to this, I had a 2013 Wrangler, then in 2021 traded in for a Gladiator Mojave. I’ve been looking for something with more creature comforts and started looking at Frontier Pro-4Xs. With the deals and financing options, I decided to test drive and kick the tires. I was sold. I picked up this new fully loaded P4X.

Color was a tough choice, as there was a Gun Metallic, Boulder Gray, and the Bluestone (on the showroom). I narrowed it down to the Gun Metallic and walked away with the Bluestone - literally on the flip of a quarter.

Looking forward to many good years and hopefully some mods to come!

Considering a 26 Pro 4x

Hello everyone!

To give a bit of a background, I have been a Jeep person since 2013. I first had a two door Wrangler Sport S trim, and loved it. I put 157k miles on it before trading it in on a new 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. I currently have 80k miles on the clock on my Gladiator and it has been great to me. I tend to keep my vehicles near the 10 year mark, and don't need to get into anything new at this time.

However there are some really great deals going on right now with the Frontiers and for the price, it is very intriguing to consider a new Frontier Pro 4x.

My Gladiator doesn't have a ton of extra add-ons - no LED package, no leather, no premium audio, etc... whereas the Frontiers I am looking at all do. One thing I do love about my Jeep is the accessibility of the aftermarket. If you want something, it's almost a guarantee that it exists. Looking at the offering for the Frontiers, it seems very limited, but that doesn't necessarily bother me as I would likely just be doing wheels and tires, a small lift, and exhaust.

I am not a fan of small turbo 4 cylinders in trucks (even mid-sizes), and that's what draws me to the Frontier. My main use is commuting to work, light towing (maybe up to 1500lbs), and winter driving in the mid-west when needed.

I don't "need" to do it, but it is very enticing to get into something a bit newer that is fully loaded for a very reasonable price.

My wife is on her 2nd Altima and loves them, however I have never owned a foreign manufacturer. Would this be a good opportunity to snag a deal or would I possibly regret the decision?
