went merch hunting in japan, WT fans are alive and well
i was in japan for the past two weeks and spent a not insignificant amount of that time in tokyo/kyoto jump shop and secondhand stores looking for proof WT exists since it seems to be lwk unknown outside of japan. surugaya lashinbang wins for the biggest selection (the whole two-panel wall!!!), nakano broadway had some figures in independent shops, mandarake had more. suruga-ya had a lot of the keychains and smaller items & the denden town one had some figures.
final slide is my actual haul (i got a dvd of the stage play too but it’s packed away), i got most of the figures i found save the 3 jin figures i saw bc they were all 9900 yen plus. i regret not going back for the other last one award of yuma but i already had the A prize version so i couldn’t really justify it 💔
