Can anyone recommend a first smoke you tube video.

Gonna do my first smoke this weekend and I’m just overwhelmed by all the options. Can anyone recommend a short easy to follow video for my first smoke. I’m thinking of chicken in case I fuck it up. I have the searwood 600xl. Thanks in advance.

What should I cook for my first smoke?

I just bought the Weber searwood XL and I have never smoked anything (meat) in my life. i’m very excited and I’m having buddies over to have some beers by the pool and smoke some meat. What should I make? Are there any recipes you guys recommend any videos? Thank you in advance.

Is this the best pit boss? What are your thoughts on this grill?

I’ve never smoked meat before and I’d like to start. I almost bought a Traeger, but I didn’t like that It didn’t have a direct flame option.
I also didn’t like that it cost almost double.
I’ve heard that the temperature control is inconsistent with pit boss, but is it really worth paying $800 more for the Traeger? What are your thoughts? This is a birthday gift to myself I can pay for Traeger but I hate feeling ripped off. I also saw that everything that trigger sells is extremely overpriced from their grills to their utensils. Like I said, I have zero experience smoking meat.
Also, I have a Lowe’s and Home Depot credit card.

Has anyone made a sauna using 4x4s?

I’ve been looking for something to make with this wood and I think a sauna would be amazing. Does anyone have a write up for something like this?
