I recently completed 4 years of engineering experience and had it signed off and approved in NCEES. I used my NCEES record to request approval to sit for the PE exam in NY. I just heard back from NY after 8 weeks saying they are requesting my experience to be rewritten to reflect 2 years of design.

For background I have 1 year and 9 months working on a design team and the rest of my experience working in Project Management but part of my duties is to review preliminary designs for projects. Will this review experience count as design? How do i resubmit my experience ( with form 4 and 4A or through NCEES). Will I need supervisor approval again?

I wonder if I could get my PE in NJ and just transfer over the license to NY after with what experience I have already signed off.

I just finished my four years of engineering experience and have all sections signed off and green on my NCEES record besides the Exam and License Verification Section. I plan to test in NY state and submitted the Form 1 and payed the fee and input my NCEES ID number to use rather than submitting the other forms with NY state. It says on the application to not forget to transfer your record to NY state from NCEES but i don’t see where thats possible on the website without having all sections green in my record. Am I missing something?
