Finally secured a long-term rental after being in France for three months. We're currently in Brittany, staying in an Airbnb, and the house we're renting is an hour east of Bordeaux. We don't have too much stuff with us, but not all of it fits in our rental car, and the distance is too far to make multiple trips. What's better—shipping the boxes, or hiring a transport company? The boxes might end up being on the heavier side, and they're 46cm x 46cm x 41cm, so somewhat large. Alternately, we could ship our four large suitcases and pack the boxes in the car, depending on what's cheapest. Thoughts?

Edited to add: Renting a second car or a DIY van isn't an option as only one of us is brave enough to drive in France.
