Too old to propagate?
Hi everyone! I’m new to the highly addictive world of Hoyas, thanks to my mom. She usually brings me store-bought Hoyas, but today she brought me some cuttings/stems instead. One of her hoya hanging planters fell, and she gave me the pieces she had to trim off. They came from an older plant and each strand is around 10" long.
How would you go about propagating these, if they are not too old? Should I place them in water and wait for roots to grow, or plant them directly into an aroid soil mix? Lastly, any idea on an ID?
Thanks for your help!
