After watching all films multiple times (except 7, I only saw it once and don't give a crap about those killers) I think Mickey and Roman could have succeeded as a team. My reason why is because both have proven to be strong, intelligent and brutal killers.

Mickey's downfall was Mrs Loomis turning on him. I think Roman could have convinced him to drop the whole "blame the movies" motive and persuade him to find a new target together after killing Sid.

Roman's downfall was facing Sid alone and underestimating her. Mickey and Roman vs Sid would have been game over for her.

I'm curious to see what other fans come up with as their ideal duo or team of killers to actually win at the end!
