Rude 180 bus driver experience. Have any of you experienced the same?

My mother was waiting at the Mary Street stop for the 180 bus right under the T sign with her compass card out around 2:30 pm. The bus arrives, she makes eye contact with the driver, but he just drives right past.

According to her, the same thing has happened to her before and she suspects it's the same driver. The driver was a white male. My mother is a brown hijabi. We have no idea if this was racially motivated or if the driver is just a dick. I was just wanting to know if anyone else has had a similar experience, whether in a different bus route or for 180. It's just frustrating because she had to walk back home in the sun, or she'd have to wait 15 minutes in the sun. I've reported it but I don't know how much good it'll do.

Rude (potentially racist) bus driver experience. Does reporting do anything?

We live in Port Moody. Yesterday, my mom was waiting at the bus stop directly under the T sign with her compass card out. She was the only one at the stop. She saw the bus coming, she made eye contact with the bus driver, but he just drove past. Did not stop at all. The bus driver was a white male according to my mom, and she is a brown hijabi. We have no idea if this was racially motivated but it is not the first time something like this has happened. She had to walk back home in the sun at noon.

Has anyone had similar experiences, and have you reported the incident? I did report it yesterday using their form, but I highly doubt they will ever get back to us or anything will happen. Just a frustrating situation all around.
