Roadtrip from OKC to Fresno, CA

We recently hit the road in our 24 Equinox EV, driving from OKC to California. At first, I was a little worried about figuring out where to charge, but my wife and I really enjoyed all the chances to take breaks, grab some food, and stretch our legs. We let the car do the planning for us. I kept track of where we charged and how much it cost, and from what I saw, Tesla had the best charging spots, equipment, and overall experience out of all the networks we tried. EVGo came in second place. We often used EA to make the most of their plan. If we had driven our Nissan Titan, the fuel costs would have been over $800, but driving the EV saved us some money. Overall, it was a blast, and I really enjoyed chatting with everyone at the charging stations. EV owners are some of the most friendly people I’ve ever met.
