Any other ET-2860 users? New to proxying, questioning results
Hi all - I've just gotten into making my own proxies, as a way to get some fun custom lands/tokens as well as being able to battle-test some decks before buying actual cards.
I've tested on about 30 sheets so far, at a mix of DPIs (some straight from Proxxied, some upscaled to 600dpi, some to 1200dpi) and seeing similar quality across all of them.
Printing on Koala 180gsm matte photo paper, via Acrobat on MacOS.
I'm finding the colours very dark, the text not as sharp as I see in other people's prints, and I'm wondering if I'm missing something basic.
Does anyone else use this printer that gets super-sharp results (specially card text)? Any ideas on why I might be seeing the colours coming through darker than in the origin media (the PDF)? I'm not using colour correction, and sometimes I am. I turned off bidirectional printing to some improvement, but still not as close to a real card as I was hoping.
Cheers.
