Anyone has experience with Pilonidal Sinus + Anal Fistula?

I recently go detected / diagnosed for pilonidal sinus for the third time.
not happy about it but kinda getting used to the pain of it.

During the surgery, the doctors comes to me and says he discovered an anal fistula as well and would like to remove it at the same time, i leave it to his expertise and he does the procedure.

What I had not expected was the pain, for a week I was prescribed 1000mg (500x2) of Magnesium Tablets per day and 200mg (100x2) of some painkiller.

Since the prescription is over, the pain has returned and the biggest hurdle right now is that everytime I have a bowel movement I have to end up retiring on the bed and resting for a few hours.

What I want to know is, is there a way to ensure the fistula pain reduces over bowel movements and I don't have to suck up to so much pain until recovery?
Of course I have heard of all the dietary options etc. I am just wanting to know if anyone has done something different from norm and has it worked.

Has anyone gotten LASER PILONIDOPLASTY (LPP) done?

I have a recurrence, for the third time and I need to get a surgery done according to a Proctologist I consulted.

I looked up my options and there is minimal awareness, but there is information and I read that Laser Pilonidoplasty is a good long-term solution (if not permanent)

I want to know if it is a safe and good option.
According to this link " https://www.healinghandsclinic.co.in/pilonidal-sinus-treatment-centre/ ", what I understand is, the laser is better than the Cleft Lift method.

I want to know if people have ever considered this and how the options are in general (If anyone from India/Japan have been through this, it would be much helpful)

How much more? 3rd times the charm

I think I have a reoccurrence for the third time and it’s just taking a toll mentally.
What do you people do when this shit hits you hard mentally?

I just don’t know how tf am I supposed to go back to normal after this. I’m sorry if venting is bad here but I just want to know what people who have had multiple recoccurences do in general to stop feeling lowly.

Edit: and of course what measures of preventive care have you all taken that has bettered your general life
