About a month and a half in with this setup and absolutely loving it. First HiFi setup and I’m happy I jumped into the pool, let’s see if I end up under water.

Got a phishing email from trust wallet with a link to an app.trustvvallet link asking for a seed phrase.

I’m not into crypto but figured I’d give a heads up. I’m sure I’m not the first or only one to get this.

By the time I clicked a minute later it was sold out, so if it was real it wasn’t many copies.

The SACD version of Transatlanticism has a little crack on the front of the jewel case, but I got a pretty good deal on it. The EU 30th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust is absolutely mint, and being my moms favorite album, this record means so much to me. Excited to have this cool ass version of it.

Crazy too I grabbed this on eBay and it ended up being my local record store so that made picking it up easy. Kinda annoying they’re using eBay to resell stuff instead of putting it on the shelf, but I get it. Their general customer base would be shocked seeing this in the bins at $40.

Lancaster performance was amazing. I remember reading some posts when the reunion shows were announced about Anthony’s voice that were far from positive, but he sounded incredible.

I wasn’t at any other shows this tour but is there anyone that was and can they tell me if I’m insane or was that everything it possibly could have been.

I've had this knife for almost four years, and about two years ago it really needed some love, so I took it to a local guy who's Facebook and yelp had all types of great reviews. I learned my lesson. He did not have the skills to sharpen this blade and did some damage. About a year later, I was drunk as hell at a buddies house visiting for the holidays. We had talked about my knife needing to be sent back to microtech, and he had just gotten his Dad some type of belt sharpening thing, I let his dad run it through the machine knowing damn well I didn't and he didn't really know what he was doing. It definitely didn't help. I was kinda already at the point where he was trying to help and the knife profile was busted, so I was pretty much like screw it, maybe this will be a good result, lmao.

I haven't learned to sharpen knives, and haven't spent the money to purchase any equipment. So I'm looking for suggestions. Do I send it back to microtech who has said it will return "much skinnier because it needs re-profiled" or look for someone else trustworthy to do the work?

Is there someone on this subreddit who y'all trust that would want to do the work?

Hyped with both of these, but especially the Hopesfall album. One of my best friends in high school and after who has passed away had hopesfall AIM sn and this makes me think about him.

Who else thinks this is an incredible album? It's probably something a good chunk of people have never heard but growing up in bucks county and going to shows at polanka park and later first unitarian church, this day forward was it for me back in high school. I loved glassjaw too but with this day forward being a local band this was my jammmmm.

I’ve been hunting a copy of this lately, and hadn’t had any luck. I pulled the trigger on a BIN for an open copy on eBay yesterday morning that was priced below what it had been selling for, but still not a price I was excited to pay.

4 hours later a handful of these popped up at Siren and I was lucky enough to call in and buy one while I was at work.

Now at least I’ll be able to keep this one sealed for the collection and have the other to listen to.

I had already gotten one of these via born losers website but I saw Siren Records posted a small quantity of these for sale today and got lucky enough to grab one and the went over to pick it up before they closed.

This album isn’t available via streaming services. There are a few of the songs posted on YouTube, but the full recording is only available via physical media or purchase of the digital version. I love that kind of approach to releasing something, and the recording sounds amazing. This will get to stay sealed up and hang out in th crib.
