NYC unveiled its most expanded ferry schedule in the system's nine-year history this week. 38 vessels, 25 landings, new routes including direct service to Governors Island, and reservable beach seats through September 13. Doesn't get you to MetLife but if you're spending multiple days in the city it's a genuinely useful way to get around without fighting the subway — especially from Brooklyn and Queens waterfront neighborhoods.
