New PVP Event: Fortress Siege🏰[Preview]

# Fortress Siege · Event Overview⚔️

The Fortress Siege consists of an initial matchmaking round, an attack & defense selection round, and ongoing cycles including the Declaration Period, Preparation Period, War Period, and Results Announcement Period.

# Stage 1: Matchmaking Period📋

Servers within the season group will be divided into two factions. Once a faction is assigned, it cannot be changed for the duration of the current event.

  3. In each faction, the top 120 guilds ranked by season resources will be selected to participate in this event.

# Stage 2: Attack & Defense Selection Period📋

The Kings of both factions will roll dice, and the higher roll will determine which faction gains the first pick.

  2. If a King does not roll within the last 5 minutes, the system will automatically roll on their behalf.
  3. The King of the faction that wins the first pick may vote to choose whether to attack first or defend first. The option with the most votes will be selected.

  5. If a King does not participate in the voting phase, it will be considered as choosing to defend first.

# Stage 3: Declaration Period📋

Attackers may declare war on defenders within the same ranking group — if no declaration is made by the end of the current Declaration Period, it will be considered an automatic forfeit.

  1. Once the war declaration phase begins, attackers can declare war on defenders within the same ranking group.
  2. Attackers can cancel a declaration, but must wait 3 minutes before declaring again.
  3. When the war declaration phase ends, if you have not declared war or no other guild has declared war on your guild, it will be considered a forfeit.

# Stage 4: Waiting Period📋

Attackers may relocate their cities to the defenders’ server — both sides will receive a free relocation and cross-server access opportunity.

  1. Once the waiting period begins, attackers can relocate to the defenders’ server.
  2. Both attackers and defenders receive 3 free relocation chances, while attackers also receive 3 cross-server relocation chances.

# Stage 5: War Period📋

Points can be earned through specific actions — rewards can be claimed upon reaching the required point threshold — and the outcome is ultimately decided by the destruction of the fortress.

  1. During the War Period, Lords earn points by performing specific actions and can claim rewards once the required points are reached.
  2. If the defending guild has not built a Guild Fort at the start of the War Period, it will count as a defeat.
  3. The attackers win by destroying the defending Guild Fort; otherwise, the defenders win.
  4. After the War Period ends, the winning side can claim exclusive victory rewards.

# Others • General Rules📌

Basic event restrictions apply, including limitations on leaving the Guild, teleporting, and skill usage.

During the War Phase, 30% of soldiers who die in battle will be converted into Reservists and temporarily stored in the Guild Hospital, subject to capacity and duration limits.

  1. You cannot leave your guild during the event period.
  2. During the War Period, 30% of soldiers who die in battle will become reserve troops and be stored in the Guild Hospital. They can be collected after the War Period ends without loss.
  3. Reserve troops in the Guild Hospital last for 1 day and will be removed after that.
  4. When claiming reserve troops, any amount over the Training Grounds capacity will be lost.
  5. Retrieved reserve troops do not count toward event points such as Guild Arms Race.
  6. During the War Period, members of specific roles on the attacking side can use their corresponding officer skills.
  7. During the War Period, the Warlord and Butler cannot be changed, and they cannot step down from their positions.
  8. Currently, only Warlord and Butler officer skills are available. Other skills will be introduced in future updates.

👉 Backstory of Acorn Scout

His home lay deep within the jungle.

With no name left behind by his parents, the creatures of the forest called him ‘that child.’ From a young age, exploring the jungle had been almost instinctual, as if carved into his bones.

The jungle was never gentle with him. Mosquito bites left swollen red marks that scabbed and reopened on his skin. The sap of poisonous vines made his palms swell. When storms came, he had to search for shelter in the mud. At night, he could hear distant tiger roars so close he could even tell which direction branches were snapping under their paws. Yet he was never afraid.

Once, during an expedition, he accidentally slipped and fell off a cliff, landing battered and unconscious. The moss beneath his feet had been soaked through with dew; the moment he stepped wrong, the world spun before his eyes. As he fell, he heard the sound of his bones breaking. He thought his journey of adventure had come to an end.

But when he woke, he found that he had already healed.

He didn’t know how long he had been lying there. When he opened his eyes, it was dusk—golden sunlight slipping through the canopy, casting speckled light across his face. His broken leg was stretched straight, and the torn wounds had already become faint pink new flesh.

And beside him, a cluster of mushrooms had gathered.

They were short and plump, with caps of varying shades—milky white, deep indigo, earthy brown—watching him curiously, their caps gently trembling.

He reached out, and the moment his fingertips touched the nearest mushroom cap, something older than language surged into his mind. To his amazement, he realized that the mushrooms’ mycelium had helped bind his wounds, and through them he could now communicate with these fungal creatures.

In a hesitant “thought,” he asked the simplest question:

Who are you?

The mushrooms did not answer. But their caps tilted slightly, as if to say: we’ve always known you.

From that day on, he left the jungle with them. Behind him was the familiar green; beneath his feet, unfamiliar land; above him, an open sky he had never seen before. The mushrooms stayed close at his side, their caps turned outward, looking around in wonder.

He looked back one last time.

The cliff was on the other side of the mountain—the place where he had fallen—now covered in moss so thick that no trace remained.

He smiled, then stepped forward.

A new adventure belonging to them was about to begin.

  1. Adjusted the auto-rally weighting for the Guild Boss. Online Lords will have increased chances to participate in attacks against the Guild Boss, while offline Lords are still guaranteed to deal damage at least once.
  2. Optimized Guild Boss mechanics by adding support for manually selecting positions.
  3. Optimized the Guild System by increasing the character limit for Guild Notices and Mail content, and allowing up to 20 active Guild Notices.

  3. Optimized the resource bar display. After unlocking Brilliance Tech, Dragon Crystal Dust will appear in the resource bar.
