Working on my lotr leg sleeves and got this lil piece done right under the knee cap last night. One of my favorite reminders from a timeless tale. May you never bend your knee to those unworthy.
I have a “perfect” credit history of no missed payments. “Fair” score because somewhat high utilization. I used to have nationwide car insurance through an independent agent in 2024 (usually very communicative). I paid for the policy for me and my ex spouse. We ended up separating but we’re on great terms and he ALWAYS made me aware of any mail I still received to the address. Life was pretty hectic during that time but I do remember cancelling that policy and getting a new policy through a different agent at the end of 2024. I rarely look at my score bc I don’t often have a reason to but I looked at the breakdown today and have an approx $200 collection from nationwide? I was never sent a single letter, email, text, or call from the independent agent that wrote the policy and I’m confused on what could have even been owed as I paid the policy up to date.
Is there a way to get this removed without paying it?
How much is this impacting my credit score negatively? (Couldn’t really find a breakdown of that through what I checked).
