I am a biotech graduate(Bsc) and I want to transition into data science , I registered for May term 2026 for qualifier level and I realised that even to complete one diploma it would take me around Jan 2028. It is too late for me till that time to get an internship and placement. My 1st priority is to get a job ASAP due to financial constraints and leaving my hometown for job or paid internship . After researching a lot I have following pathway!!!

I will 2nd quiz exam which is on Aug 2026 and quit the qualifier level there followed by registering into standalone double diploma course ,if I do this I will complete my one diploma till May 2027 and will have access to register myself on placement portal(iic). But mere registering won't get me a job, I have to work hard for the same

Now I know will loose access to other higher levels like Bsc and BS but this is the best shot due to immediate requirement of job.

Now to increase my chances of getting a job I would do Msc in Al and Ml parallel and i know just getting a degree won't matter, but it will increase my knowledge as this my transitioning phase and will be helpful for me to building projects by myself which will eventually increase chances of hiring or paid internship etc.Further after 2 years I will be eligible for Mtech admission. I can do Job parallelly until I get a good score in GATE

I am ready to work my ass off throughout but utmost priority is to get a job by next year by any means.

I want to know from seniors or someone who have finished the diploma ? is it possible?

Quick question 1- I have heard that we can do both diplomas but have to register for one as mentioned on the website, the examination date of both diplomas is same which is 13 th sept 2026 . Further this diploma will be completed around may 2027 and remaining one has to be registered around may 2027 so I will be done with double diploma till Jan 2028(16 months)

Q-2- Which diploma(data science or programming) I should go for to increase my chances of getting a job?
