I visited NYC earlier this year for Wire Fest and discovered the NYC discord while searching for tickets to the fest. I was impressed with how active the discord was and how it successfully brought so many people within the scene together (at least that was my impression).

My local scene is relatively big (for US standards) but we lack community. The scene overall feels very disjointed and I believe discord could be an interesting solution to connect more people within the scene.

If your city has a discord for techno, how would you describe it? Has it felt like an overall positive for the community? Are there things you wish were handled differently? Is it even worth the effort? Would appreciate any thoughts on this 🙏
