Experience: 9 Years as a tutor. Bachelors of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State.

Subjects Offered: I focus primarily in math and science but can handle any subject at the middle or high school level outside of foreign language. I can also help with Freshmen/Sophomore level math and science in University.

Rate: $25/hr via Zelle

Approach: I try and focus on the why's and how's of each topic covered. I have found that this is the most neglected area in most classes. The student knows theoretically what to do, but doesn't know why they are doing it so can't apply it to outside situations or to adapt it to new problems. I value being asked questions and talking through the problems to focus in on the problem areas.

I just wanted to put out some feelers to see if anyone out there was interested in making some easy money finding me work. This works great if you are in a higher price of living area since you can easily charge the rate for your area and then charge me my flat rate and keep the difference and all you need to do is handle the set up and payment.

I have 9 years of experience as a tutor with a degree from Penn State in Nuclear Engineering. Basically, I graduated right as the Fukushima Incident occurred which seriously tanked my job prospects so I pivoted into something I found I enjoyed more, helping people learn.

I am a native English speaker. I can tutor functionally anything at the middle school or high school level except for the foreign language. For University I am confident in Calc 1, Calc 2, Chemistry 1, Physics 1 and Physics 2 but might be able to do other classes. I can likely also do SAT, ACT, and GED prep.

My rate is $30 CAD (eTransfer) or $25 USD (Zelle).
