Screen replacement for P6 non-pro
I broke my Pixel 6 screen a while back and I'm using my old phone for the time being. These are the options I have seen:
- The replacement screens I see on eBay. They are 50-60 dollars, but I hear those have poor support for the fingerprint reader and their refresh rate is low. I've also read the colors won't look right.
- A used Pixel 6 with a working screen. Not sure what extra tools I need, and presumably I need adhesives to make this work. Seems like a good option, as I have seen these for sub-100 USD, but I really don't need a whole phone.
- Official replacement from iFixit (or maybe a Google store). The problem is that the iFixit one is never in stock and when I saw it come in stock, it was $180, which is way too much for my taste.
Does anyone have any insight on which might be the best option now? Are there unofficial replacement screens that are not $180 that actually work well?
