Hello, I am thinking of purchasing a Sorento Plug-in Hybrid. I read that the electric motor is underpowered (90HP?) for a vehicle its size. As a result it doesn’t drive in electric mode as much as some people would like. I was curious what owners first hand experiences have been with it? I live in a the Birmingham, Alabama area and it is hilly here. We used to own a Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, and I could go 4 to 6 weeks on a tank of gas and I miss that. I installed a level 2 charger in my garage so I could charge it everyday. I do mostly city driving with an occasional road trip and trying to decide between a plug-in Sorento or a hybrid Sorento or Santa Fe. Thanks for any input.
