Wanna plug into my vibe-coded digital smoke-show?
Nah, mate, no way. Social media chocked the spirit out of the old internet and the indieweb. AI slurry is polluting social media. Pouring both into a Claude shaped trash can, giving it a stir, and calling the stinking garbage your left with a new social media platform is a waste of everyone's damn time.
If you had to vibe-code a simple social media app you're already way out of your depth. Coding's the easy part. Always has been. Handling traffic spikes, the tidal wave of support requests, regulatory hounds and the inevitable lawsuits will all flatten your little pet project. Unless you sell out to the VC money, you're cooked before you even get started.
If you really wanna resurrect something of the old internet, build yourself a damn forum. Build a proper community. Focus on some tiny niche hobby or interest that won't attract the wild rabble hoards. Something you can manage on a tiny budget and in the hours you're not working your day job.
