I received the Road Champs KW seen here with the exhaust damaged, so I removed it. I then decided to hand paint and add a waterslide decal stripe to the truck. I also added new exhaust made from coffee straws.

This was one of two meese (I know it’s moose) spotted in the Medicine Bowl NF. We ran out of daylight, we only hit the western portion before heading north to I-80. The other moose was shot with DSLR and hasn’t been imported yet. This is a quick and dirty cell pic from a moving vehicle.
I left my area (and timezone) and benefited by inventory we do not have here. I finally got some skid steers for my planned train set equipment manufacturing plant, as well as several other nice pieces that were hard to find in my area.
I have a decent collection of Ultra Series semis in various conditions. This was a decent but broken model, so I custom painted it and removed a wheel to haul these custom-built hay loads.
I recently acquired this five-pack of well-played, pre-loved trucks in need of some TLC.
I finally found a place to showcase some of my cool old custom restored die-cast that isn’t one of the two big brands. These are mostly Road Champs and Yatming, with a little Athearn mixed in.
Long live antique stores! Found these gems over the weekend.
The copyright says 1999, but the two Tahoes are each stamped with Matchbox 2000.
So I fixed it. Here’s a custom creation with a frame painted to match the classic KW paint scheme.
This truck came to me after a lot of play as part of a well-worn lot. Cleaned up nicely.
