This took a looooong time to make, but was really fun to do! Tried to make it look stitched, and pretty pleased with the outcome! Andd, the ball is strong enough to throw around which is always nice.
It doesn't stand up by itself unfortunately. The neck was a huge struggle and didn't turn out nearly as well as I was hoping, but oh wellss, live and learn.

Help! I've committed to this, it looks kind of like the Maoi statues, but is clearly missing the clear details of the actual statues. How can I make it better?
