Passed Yesterday
Not sure what I made, nor do I want to know. I was making between 68-70 on Kaplan simulated exams two weeks before, but I got it up to 76-80 the week of the exam. During the exam, the first 15 questions were difficult and so were the last 15, but I found a solid groove in the middle of the exam. I had marked 29 questions overall that I was unsure. I changed about 3-4 answers during my final review.
Topics that caught me by surprise: 1.) Business Development companies with Floating Loans Rates? Not sure what that was. 2.) Inverted bond funds 3.) a lot of questions about account transfers (ex. Broker to broker and B/D to B/D) 4.) opening accounts in general. 5.) Selling a Put in the Money or At the Money 6.) Hedge fund Taxing 7.) Funds of Funds Hedge Funds.
Other than that the typical questions are there: Options, Option Strategies (ex. Selling Calls), Long Margin accounts, Variable Annuities, Tender offerings, Sell Stop Limit Tickers, Advertising ( I was not good here), Mutual Funds, Warrants/Rights, ETFs and Municipals. I did not have many questions on DPPs, which I found odd.
Any ways, good luck to everyone else that is soon to take the exam. My Testing Journey has now come to an end:)
Special shout out to the Whisperer, and the GEEK! Those guys rock!
