Do Kawai pianos generally have a lot of reverb?
I was given an upright Kawai from a family friend and I find that it has a lot of reverb which lasts for about 5-10 sec until it’s fully silent. But it’s a bit of a haunting reverb, like echoing through a dark tunnel.
Was curious to know if this is a Kawai trait or maybe is a result of lack of maintenance from previous owner? Is this maybe something that can be fixed?
