RTX 4060 vs 4070 vs 5060 laptop for GTA 6 and future-proofing—is the extra money worth it?

I'm looking for a work/gaming laptop and I've narrowed it down to these used options, but I'm not sure which one makes the most sense. All of them come with 32GB of RAM.

  • Zephyrus G14 2024 – Ryzen 9 8945HS + RTX 4060 – $1,345
  • Zephyrus G14 2024 – Ryzen 9 8945HS + RTX 4070 – $1,535 (+$190)
  • Zephyrus G14 2025 – Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 + RTX 5060 – $1,725 (+$380)

I've read that the laptop RTX 4070 is only around 10–15% faster than the 4060, and that the 5060 performs similarly to the 4070. However, the 5060 has the newer architecture and supports the latest DLSS features (I think it's DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation?), so I'm wondering if that makes it a better long-term choice.

My main use will be:

  • Programming/work
  • Gaming
  • Some light content creation

One of the biggest reasons I'm upgrading is that I want to be able to play GTA 6 when it comes to PC (hopefully within the next couple of years).

My dilemma is:

  • The 4060 would save me $380 compared to the 5060.
  • The 4070 costs $190 more than the 4060, but from what I've seen, the performance increase isn't huge.
  • The 5060 is the most expensive, but maybe it's more future-proof because of the newer GPU features and CPU.

Is the 5060 actually worth the extra $380 over the 4060, or is the 4060 already enough for the next few years? Or is the 4070 the sweet spot?
