Fraught with dark matter
bound with innumerable stars
I don a stellar halo
while a black hole lurks at my center
Its pull evolves me
and holds fragments in place

I am losing fuel
I will not collapse
Supernova
I am not frightened
I will endure

For in the arms of
my spiral
the dust and the cold
compress
A star is born
and I learn how vast
I truly am
