Chafing

Did the C2C in may. Sorry to be blunt, but my intergluteal cleft (thanks google) was chafing, and I ended up red raw and walking like john Wayne. It made life miserable at times. Any one else experience this and have any solutions. Vaseline didn't help. T.I.A

Struggling half way!?

Currently in Kirkby Stephen. Loved the lakes but feeling a bit low and uninspired by the walk at the minute. Not a fan of the open bleak landscape and am struggling to march on. Need the dog on a lead constantly as it's lambing season, which is making it harder. Any advice that will lift my spirits?
