I (29F) have been contemplating going back to school for a while now. I moved to a new city for my partner's job and have been unable to find work since we moved ~8 months ago. I used to work as an ophthalmic technician/scribe back home and enjoyed it a lot. Now, I am interested in getting back into the healthcare setting but am unable to do so since I have very little qualifications. There is an LVN program at the local community college and I have reached out to speak with a counselor. Before I make my final decision, I wanted to see just how difficult the program is and how hard the NCLEX-PN is. I have so much time on my hands right now and want to find something I enjoy and can be proud of at the end of the day.
