i have lived in westwood for three years and i somehow still do not understand how ticketing works here. i share a tandem parking spot in an off campus apartment. one of us parks in the spot and one of parks behind in the street with the sidewalk in between. on street cleaning days, i have been ticketed for being in the street, which makes sense, but i have also been ticketed for parking on the sidewalk. what do people who share tandem spots do on these days? i feel like i always see cars blocking the sidewalk or the street during sweeping and they don't get ticketed somehow?
