I am not a snail person, but I found this guy with a busted shell. The damage is bad but not catastrophic. One side is broken off and their body is hanging out. They are active and mobile. I made a mossy enclosure and have been keeping it moist.

I read some guides about care. I haven't felt comfortable trying to patch it. Mainly, I am worried they are suffering. I am willing to euthanize if there is no chance of recovery, but also willing to take care of them for as long as they need. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Btw I named them Heffy to try and give them some Named Character energy.
