Would a restraining order be approved for this type of harassment and would it fall under civil or DV?
I’m wondering if the situation I’m in is grounds for getting a restraining order. A girl and I had hung out twice and been intimate once, other than that we texted for a couple weeks. I decided to end our communication because I felt she was becoming a little too clingy, and trying to move things along too quickly, which I communicate communicated to her. After saying, I was no longer interested and asked her to not contact me. She has continued to not only contact me but harass me over the weekend. She called me well over 200 times, sent many messages, signed up my phone number for spam text and calls, listed my residence on craigslist saying that it was available, and continually threatened to show up at my home. I filed an incident report with the police and let her know that if she continued to contact me that I would file charges and to please no longer contact me whatsoever. I was very clear. Nonetheless, the contact has continued as has all the harassment.
