Howdy. I'm new to using AI tools for coding, but an experienced developer. I keep finding that the Zed agent will respond to simple things like "I added a constant to some class" and run off and make its own implementation details up and just change files. I'm clearly using the "Write" profile. I could use "Ask" but I'd like to get it to use tools just... ask me first. I've worked on some system prompts and thought I added it into my settings.json correctly but it just keeps on assuming I am vibe coding and just want it to run off and do whatever it wants. Which I do not.

Anyone out there got any ideas how to calm down my agent successfully?
