Why are you trying to break in?

I just have a general question - all day long there are posts about trying to break in to the industry. I’ve been in it for a little over 5 years and have started to think about getting out.

I’ve seen so much change through my short time to where it isn’t what it used to be. The ball is always in the hospitals court, companies changing comp plans, etc. Are people trying to get in just to say they are in med sales?

So, out of curiosity why is there so much interest to get in when there are many other successful sales roles.

Has anyone moved on from wound care to something different, what to?

Has anyone transitioned out of wound care and into a different product/specialty?

Do you regret it, or are you happy you did so?

I’ve been repping a wound product for just under 4 years and while I have great relationships with the docs I work with and am doing very well, I am getting a bit tired of the space.

WLB is ok, but this space is the first case to get bumped for something else, so it’s a lot of sitting and waiting.

Looking for any feedback there might be out there. Thanks!

X-Line SX vs X-Line SX Prestige

Hi All -

Has anyone went with the X-Line SX and wished they went with the SX Prestige?

Purchased a CPO 2025 Wolf Gray X-Line SX and am semi wishing I held out for a SX Prestige. Has anyone gone through this?

I was able to get the CPO SX for $34,200 before tax, title, fees etc. which I thought was a good deal.

Might be overthinking, but wondering what other Sorento owners went through.

Thanks!

Wound Care to Ortho?

Hello -

I’ve been in surgical wound care for 3.5 years, but have always been interested in getting into the ortho space.

What would be the best path to make the transition without a severe pay cut? I’ve been very successful in the wound care space, but am ready for a change. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!
