Stacy X! (Custom Hero)
Welcome to my 22nd Custom Hero for Marvel Champions! As I'm known to do, I've created another character from the fringes of the Marvel Universe, specifically the X-Men Universe: Stacy X.
Debuting back in 2001 (Uncanny X-Men #399), Stacy was introduced as a mutant sex worker at a brothel in Las Vegas known as the X-Ranch. What? Really? Stacy inexplicably joined up with the X-Men and had a pretty short-lived career with the team (roughly 20 issues) before disappearing. She has popped up a few times over the years but it still seen as a fairly obscure character.
Stacy X's mutant power is her pheromone control, using it on others to enhance their lust and adrenaline, and can even use it to make them sick. In Marvel Champions, Stacy X can play these Pheromone upgrades on enemies and allies when she uses basic powers (THW, ATK, & DEF) or by using cards like Pleasure Centers and Critical Illness.
The X-Ranch itself can take care of minions who have fallen victim to Stacy X's mutant pheromones, and clever timing with it (and her Snake Skin event) can help clear the board.
Her Obligation (Depowered) plays into the time when much of the mutant population were wiped of their powers, and she somehow ended up joining an incarnation of the New Warriors fighting crime with a battlesuit that used technology of other Marvel characters. Honestly, it's a pretty terrible story but it was a fun aspect to include in this custom design.
Like Agent Venom, Stacy X's nemesis set includes multiple nemesis minions, so when 1 comes out, all 3 do. And the Church of Humanity is determined to destroy the sinful X-Ranch, so you'll need to deal with them quickly when they show up!
