My first day with a CGM (Lingo)

My first time dealing with a CGM today and wanted your thoughts.

Installed it at 10am, went for a hike in the mountains at 11am, ate lunch at 12pm, short walk at around 3pm, dinner at 6:45pm and did a small weight workout at 8:30pm.

I was surprised lunch had two spikes compared to dinner.

Lunch:
Chicken breast
Quinoa
Arugula and cilantro salad with balsamic dressing
Blackberries

Dinner:
New York strip
Asparagus
Strawberries

I was diagnosed 1 month ago and made lifestyle changes mainly with diet and casual exercise. Lost 17lbs in three weeks. I am 52 years old, 5’10” and now 172 lbs. the A1C a month ago was 6.6

I’m going to try and get things into remission without meds if possible. I told my doctor I wanted to check back after 3 months from the last test before agreeing on taking meds.
