we all know that Smarters Pro (by WHMCS) is a less than ideal player, especially on Samsung TVs/Tizen. However some folks insist on using that, so be it...

There's one thing I fail to understand with that setup. Perfectly working URLs (tested on different players, including SmartersPro on Android) will return an authentication/authorization failed error message when adding a playlist to SmartersPro on Tizen OS.

Does anyone know why that is? Any solution other than the obvious (ditching that setup)?

Edit: typically, successful URLs are short CF ones - but even then, there's no guarantee of those working

Update: turns out the reason is that the developer charges a fee to have URLs registered with them. Non registered URLs will not work on their LG and Samsung apps

Je teste Smarters Pro sur Android TV et j’ai remarqué une différence de fluidité selon que j’utilise le lecteur intégré ou un lecteur externe (comme VLC).

Sur certaines chaînes HD, le lecteur intégré semble avoir plus de micro‑coupures, alors qu’avec le lecteur externe c’est plus stable.

Est‑ce que cela peut venir du type de décodage (hardware vs software) ou de la gestion des buffers ?
J’aimerais comprendre un peu mieux comment Smarters gère ça techniquement

In TiviMate, a lot of channels say “No information” in the TV guide. The channels play fine, but there’s no program info showing.

I didn’t change anything in settings.
Using it on Android TV.

My IPTV channels in Smarters Lite keep reconnecting every few minutes. The screen freezes for a second and then says “Reconnecting” before playing again.

My internet seems stable and other apps work fine.
I’m using this on a Fire Stick Lite.

Is this something in the settings or more likely the service?

Not sure what’s going on, but Smarters Pro randomly logs me out every few days.

I’m using Xtream Codes login, everything works fine, then I open the app and it’s back to the login screen. No error or anything.

Running it on a Fire Stick 4K.
Is this an app issue or something on the provider side?
