I never showed this off when I finished it years ago!
I used Pellons four patch cathedral window technique/pattern to make this quilt, but without a pattern. All machine pieced!

Here's the rest of my finished blocks! Included are the half blocks so I can mimic the Kustom Kwilts design. I admired the layout so much and I think the studio was really smart to include half blocks. At the end too are my first three appliqued blocks. The backgrounds are going to be a mix of solids, 2 patches (rectangles), and 4 patches. I loved being creative with the combinations and I'm so happy that it's been resonating with folks!
Now I've got to remove the papers and applique them on my blocks. I hate hate hate removing papers, but since I made the papers myself, I've already started removing some papers and appliqueing so that I can avoid cutting the pieces out. I usually like to get everything done of one step before I move on to the next.
I started EPP with my Homage to Grandmother's Flower Garden and after that I swore I wouldn't again, but here I am and I'm glad I'm doing another EPP project. It's so calming to me.
