Just received a tracking update that my parcel has been held by customs.
I've had packages held before but this is the first time it contained watches. I've been using this TD for quite some time now, but this is the first time it happened.
With previous packages, I just had to pay duties to have it released, but unsure about how it works with rep watches.
What do people normally do from here?
I have been buying from taobao, 1688, weidian, and whatever website has the items I wanted for over a year now and never had a problem.
I use sellers who has direct shipping options if offered, but most of the time, I use GTbuy, especially if its gonna be a big haul.
I usually get my packages within 7-10 days with the longest wait being 3- 4 weeks.
Last month, I received a text message on my phone that a package of mine was held at customs and I needed to produce receipts of the items I purchased, and pay duties, to be able to claim the package. I headed over the next day.
They opened the package in front of me and told me I needed to pay duties since I went over the 10k limit of the aggregate value of the items which I did.
The same thing happened two weeks after that. Another parcel from GTbuy was held up again but this time I didn't pay any duties since the value was less than 10k.
Has this been happening to anyone else? Ive never used or needed freight forwarders before but I read that a lot of people here are use them. Would that make me a smaller target for customs?
I was browsing and found these on XO Factory's Yupoo page. Has anyone bought from them before and how is the quality compared to TA. I have 2 jackets from TA already but these are around half-priced of what TA is asking.

The only time I used WA is when I buy reps. I got this message this morning when I tried to message a different TS. I received temporary suspensions before but those were only for a few hours and after I tried to message a new TS.
Do I just wait? Any other ways to get around this?

With some sellers, I can add the shoes through their weidian sites but when you actually confirm availability with them through chat, they're not. Any help is appreciated.
